It comes with extensive documentation that makes it easier to use. So far mine works well, but I can't vouch for how well/how long this installation of windows through parallels will work. This iPhone emulator is Apple’s officially recommended method for testing iOS apps. Be sure to send Microsoft and Parallels some feedback if you run into any issues. I hope this helps anyone out there looking for a solution. Note: I only got the HD1 client (1024x768) size to work for me, the larger (1366x768) size doesn't seem to work.

The problem with currently running the Mac client on Big Sur/Catalana is these versions of MacOS no longer support 32 bit applications, and will never do so in the future. M1 chip based Mac systems are unable to downgrade in this way, Mojave does not support the M1 chip.Īnother option is running bootcamp/parallels to run windows. Though downgrading your macOS might have some disadvantages. So after struggling for an entire day and googling stuff, here's my probably scuffed guide on getting MapleLegends to run on the new MacBook M1 series / MacOS Catalana or Big Sur.ĭowngrading to Mojave and running MapleLegends that way as explained here is probably going to be the easiest option.
